About
OakForge Play started as a group chat where a few friends kept swapping screenshots and arguing about which games were worth the storage space. At some point we figured the notes we were already writing might be useful to other people, so we turned them into a proper site.,There is no big studio behind us and no agency telling us what to cover. A small editorial team picks games, plays them for real, and puts down what stuck and what didn't. If something gets boring after an hour, we say so.,We choose games across every genre on purpose. One week it's a slow strategy title, the next it's a reflex-heavy arcade thing. We care less about hype and more about whether a game respects your time and your thumbs.,Everything you read here is written after actual play sessions. We don't republish press kits. When we quote a feature, it's because we touched it ourselves.
Lukas Berger — Lukas has been reviewing mobile games for nearly a decade and still keeps three phones charged at his desk. He leads the editorial team and plays far too much before bed.
