Ashen Crownfall

Ashen Crownfall is the kind of mobile RPG I keep meaning to put down and then don't. You build a party of four, work through a fallen kingdom, and fight battles that reward thinking over button mashing. Positioning matters, elemental reactions matter, and swapping a character's role mid-chapter can save a fight you thought was lost.

The writing carries it. Companions have opinions, the world has history, and side quests occasionally surprise you with a twist. Progression is generous enough that grinding never felt mandatory, which is rare on mobile.

Touch controls are clean. You drag abilities onto targets, and the game pauses to let you plan without rushing. On a phone screen it stays readable even in the busiest encounters.
